India is celebrating its 73rd Army Day on 15 January 2021. On 15 January, 1949, then Lieutenant General KM Cariappa took over as Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army from General Francis Butcher, the last British Commander-in-Chief of India. This day is considered important in the history of independent India. Since then India is celebrating Indian Army Day on 15 January to honor nation’s army.

National Youth Day is celebrated in India every year on the birthday of the Swami Vivekanand. It is celebrated every year on the 12th January. In 1984, it was declared by the Government of India that 12th January will be observed as National Youth Day and since 1985, India celebrates this day.

The intention behind the government's move to celebrate this day was to imbibe the students and youth with the philosophy and ideals of the Swami Vivekananda , who brought a change in the thought process of the youth .

                            

Swami Vivekananda Ji's original name was Narendranath. He was born on 12th January ,1863 at Kolkata). Right from childhood , two aspects of his behaviour could clearly be noticed . One was his sincere and compassionate nature and the other was his readiness to perform any act of courage. Since his whole family was spiritually inclined, he received an appropriate religious upbringings.

He also published a number of books from 1887 until his death on July 4th, 1902. These books include Sangeet Kalpataru, Karma Yoga, Raja Yoga, Vedanta Philosophy: An Address before the Graduate Philosophical Society, Bartaman Bharat, My Master, and Vedânta philosophy: Lectures On  Jnana Yoga. Books that were published posthumously include Inspired Talks, Para Bhakti or Supreme Devotion and Speeches and Writings of Swami Vivekananda.

National road safety week is celebrated from 11th January to 17th January every year in our country India to create awareness about road safety and minimize road accidents & save life.

On this 2021 we are celebrating 32nd National Road Safety Week.

At first in the year 1989 awareness for the National Road Safety Week was celebrated and at that time about 36,000 had lost their lives. So this tragic story is related to the observation of this awareness week.

32nd National Road Safety Week 2021 theme, ‘ Safe yourself to save your family’. Apply all the safety measures while going through a vehicle and always follow the traffic rules.

If we do not safe ourselves  then it is more chance to be in problem. Only you and I know that how much important we are for our family. Keep it in mind and drive safe drive carefully.

  • Approximately 4,67,000 accidents were happening per year in India and about 1,50,000/ year are dying of it.
